A Very Happy Half Birthday!

Carson is a HALF YEAR OLD today! We can't believe how quickly the months have passed. Yesterday we had a Half Birthday Celebration. Nana, Papa and Aunt Sassy came by and we enjoyed a strawberry/chocolate half birthday cake :) We also had half a "1" candle, half plates, half napkins, half forks, half filled cups of strawberry lemonade, half wrapped presents and cute half birthday hats! All starting at half past two o'clock!

Okay...so maybe I went a little overboard with the "half" theme, but it was fun!

Nana and Papa brought us a special birthday surprise...a kiddie swimming pool! We plan to enjoy it today. It's a great day for "swimming"!

Mommy and Daddy bought Carsy a blow-up roller/crawl toy. Turns out...she HATED it. For some reason, just the sight of it from across the room brought real tears and wimpers! We put it away and brought it out later in the evening to see if she'd forgotten...we thought maybe she'd suddenly like it. Nope! She wimpered and held tight to Mommy just seeing it! So strange! Sooo...we brought it back to Wal-Mart and shopped for another toy. We couldn't find anything else fun for a 6 month old, so we got a tube of giant bubbles that we'll enjoy this afternoon with our pool :) I think this was the first thing she has shown a true dislike for! Very interesting...
