Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'....

The biggest news in the Carson Kennon household is that Carson rolled over at her doctor's appointment on Monday (April 27)!!! We were waiting (and waiting and waiting and waiting) for the doctor and I suppose Carsy felt like Mommy and Daddy needed to be entertained. After a couple of rocks to build momentum, over she went on the examination table, John and I on either side. She rolled three times before the doctor came in! Ever since she's been rolling like CRAZY. She will only stay on her back now if she's being entertained or sleeping. She flips every time and then fusses when she gets on her belly. She wants to crawl in the worst way and she gets very mad when she can't! She has managed to scoot once or twice, but just barely.

That, however, was the most fun we had. We had our four month shots Monday also and it was not fun! She howled and howled but the very second we stepped outside to load up and leave, the crying immediately stopped. Ha!

We also had lots of questions for the doctor about Carsy's skin...the doctor confirmed that she has a case of baby eczema :_( She's been miserable with itching for a couple of weeks. The good news is that we can figure out what's causing it and the doctor also prescribed her a great cream that cleared her right up! No more scratching this week!

Our 4 Month Stats:

(I'm operating from memory here since in all the hullabaloo with itching and shots, we didn't get our montly paper with all of the stats on it...It's in the mail. Meantime, here is what I remember!)

Length: 25 3/4 in. (95th Percentile)

Weight: 15 lbs (75th Percentile...I think)

Head: ??? (50th Percentile)

I'm sooooo excited that we might have a tall little girl on our hands! I've done short...and I'd rather she didn't. Haha!
